A fair refund policy.
Bad refund policies are infuriating. You feel like the company is just trying to rip you off. We never want our customers to feel that way, so our policy is simple: if you're ever unhappy with our products for any reason, contact our support team and we'll work it out with you.
There is one place where we have to be firm. Our products use AI, and AI usage costs us real money the moment it happens. So while we are generous about refunds in general, we cannot refund money that has already been spent on your behalf.
When we offer full refunds.
- If you were charged for your next month of service but meant to cancel, we will refund that charge in full, as long as you have not used your AI credits for the new period.
- If you forgot to cancel your account some months ago and have not used it since (no AI credits used, no rooms accessed), we will refund the months you were charged for. No problem.
- If you signed up, tried the product for a few days, and decided it is not for you, you can have your money back within 7 days, as long as you have not used much of your monthly AI credits.
When we offer partial refunds or credits.
- If you forgot to cancel an account from a year ago and there has been activity since then, we will review your usage and work out a partial refund based on the months you actually used.
- If you upgraded to a higher plan a few months ago and kept using it but did not end up using the extra features, we will consider applying prorated credit toward future months.
- If we had extended downtime (multiple hours in a day, or multiple days in a month) or our support team took several days to reply to you, we will issue a partial credit to your account.
What we cannot refund.
- AI credits that have been used. Once an AI request has run, we have already paid the underlying provider. That money is gone, so we cannot return it to you.
- Subscription fees once you have used much of your monthly AI credits. The subscription bundles AI credits at a discount; once those credits are spent, the value of the subscription has been delivered.
- Credit pack purchases. One-time credit packs (the optional top-ups) are non-refundable, used or not.
